Of Cabbages and Kings: It's not a small matter

In general, I find that blaming the victim is a privileged person’s perspective. It allows us to distance ourselves from solving the problem and feeling guilt with not helping. However, truth is we probably can’t really successfully address the outcome of the situation, rather individual awareness and action could successfully assist prevention efforts. 

I guess what I’m guilty of is blaming the system. Instead of blaming the victim, I blame the system.
